A space where we open real conversations about sexual harassment a safe space for stories often left unsaid, a time for voices that deserve to be heard, and a place where we can learn how to set boundaries.

 

Episode 1: Let’s talk About Something Normalized but Actually Shouldn’t Be

Introduction of podcast by welcoming Miss Nicole, the Gender and Development (GAD) Expert. Defining what Sexual Harassment and Gender Based Violence is and how it is normalized. Lastly, what policies are being implemented in schools and public places and how to report them to the authorities.

Episode 2: The "Common" Experience

Lexie shares her lived experiences in school and public transportation, how she felt during those times and how she assessed that what happened to her was in fact sexual harassment. 

Episode 3: Clubbing Culture

Bells shares her lived experiences in bars and clubs on how she stands up for herself, giving us advice when it comes to self defense and involving older adults and reporting to the authorities. Breaking the stigma against the negative connotations when it comes to clubbing in bars.

Episode 4: Can we trust schools?

Lily shares her lived experiences in schools, and how she reported it, and the teachers supporting and helping her through those experiences. She also talks about how she felt betrayed by her partner when they disrespected her boundaries.

Episode 5: What We Can Learn

After listening to all the guests share their lived experiences and reflections from the past episodes, we analyze and discuss what they’ve shared and determine the factors of the root cause of sexual harassment and why it happens in the first place. We talk about our advocacy and how we as a society can have these safe spaces that allow these kinds of conversations and movements.
